Title: Gravitational turbulence in Large D

Abstract:  Focusing on the simplest set-up, namely asymptotically anti-de Sitter spacetimes in a large number of dimensions, I will show that forced black holes exhibit statistically steady turbulence consistent with Kolmogorov’s theory of 1941. I will also demonstrate that tidal deformations of the horizon can induce turbulent dynamics.
