Title:
Dark Holograms and Gravitational Waves

Abstract:
Many scenarios of physics beyond the Standard Model involve hidden strongly-coupled gauge sectors. Cosmological first-order phase transitions predicted by strongly-coupled gauge theories trigger the production of gravitational waves. The detection of gravitational waves is then a promising tool for probing the physics beyond the Standard Model. In this talk, we discuss the first-order phase transition which occur in the Witten-Sakai-Sugimoto model, viewed as a strongly coupled dark sector where reliable calculations can be performed, as well as the spectrum of the associated gravitational waves.
