November 27 (18:00 CET): Discussion panel “A rigorous pathway to causal stable hydrodynamics?”

Abstract: On September 1st, 2023, two papers on causal stable hydrodynamics appeared simultaneously on the arXiv, [1] and [2]. Both papers discuss their results based on the Schwinger-Keldysh formalism. The purpose of this discussion session is to compare and contrast these results. Akash Jain and Mauricio Hippert are each going to give a 5-minute position statement highlighting the major results of each collaboration, [1] and [2]. After that, all authors are present to discuss on which results they agree, on which results they disagree, and which results from previous literature they disagree with.
