Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2026 🎓

We are delighted to announce the graduation ceremony for the 2025–2026 cohort of the Master’s Degree in Theoretical Physics, the fifteenth graduating class since the programme was launched in the 2011–2012 academic year.

This is a very special group, and we would like to celebrate not only the completion of their Master’s studies, but also the beginning of a new chapter. A new generation of scientists is completing the programme with a strong academic foundation and the skills needed to embark on a promising professional and research career.

We hope that this event will not mark a farewell, but rather the beginning of a lasting connection with those who have been part of the Master’s programme this year. We look forward to following their future paths and staying in touch with them.

The ceremony will begin at 15:00 on 9 September 2026 with welcoming remarks from the Directors of the Department of Theoretical Physics and the Institute for Theoretical Physics. This will be followed by contributions from faculty members and students representing each of the programme’s track.

One of the Master’s lecturers will then speak about the importance and representation of women in STEM. Finally, the Master’s coordinators will present the diplomas to the graduating students.

The ceremony will conclude with a reception in the cafeteria of the Institute for Theoretical Physics.

Each student may attend with up to three guests. Access to the building will be available from 14:30 to 15:00. The ceremony will begin promptly at 15:00.

We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating this special occasion together!
