Savvas Nesseris
Research interests:
My research is focused mainly on cosmology, the large scale structure of the Universe, but also data analysis, likelihoods and modified gravity. I am particularly interested in understanding the accelerated expansion of the Universe, the nature of dark energy and also I enjoy playing with theories beyond general relativity (GR). I have been working on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for more than 15 years now, especially evolutionary programming, but lately I have been also intrigued by neural networks and their applications to classification of models beyond GR. Finally, I am an active member of Euclid, and other collaborations (LISA, SKAO etc).
