Title: Searching for quasi-Dirac oscillations in astrophysical neutrino spectra.

Abstract: Determining whether neutrinos are Dirac or Majorana particles is one of the biggest open questions in neutrino physics. One possibility is that neutrinos are “quasi-Dirac” and lepton number is almost conserved: in this case, neutrinos traveling extraordinarily long baselines would oscillate into undetectable sterile states, producing a disappearance signature as a function of energy. In this talk, I will discuss prospects for constraining quasi-Dirac models using extra-galactic and galactic neutrinos measured by the IceCube Neutrino Observatory.
