Postdoc positions
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at the Instituto de Física Teórica UAM-CSIC funded by Luis Ibáñez ERC Advanced Grant project "String Phenomenology in the LHC Era''.
The team members in this area include Angel Uranga and Fernando Marchesano plus additional postdocs and students. The theory group at IFT in Madrid includes members working on particle phenomenology, string theory, cosmology, astroparticle physics and it is a large group with around 15-20 postdocs at any given moment. The group enjoys a privileged status of Center of Excellence Severo Ochoa which guarantees excellent funding and has a very active scientific life, see http://www.ift.uam-csic.es/en
The position will be available starting fall 2017 for two years. Candidates are expected to have experience in String Theory Compactifications, Phenomenological aspects of String Theory, String Cosmology, Physics Beyond the Standard Model at LHC, Supersymmetry phenomenology and/or related subjects.
