Funding from the Severo Ochoa FPI and <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.ift.uam-csic.es\/severo\/index.php\/la-caixa-fellowships\/\">&#8220;la Caixa&#8221; INPhINIT<\/a>  has been key to the success of this program. Additionally, we have launched specific SO(IFT) PhD positions through an international call in line with other international PhD programmes worldwide. Currently, over 60 early-stage researchers are working towards their PhD at IFT premises. She is currently pursuing a PhD at IFT under the supervision of Savvas Nesseris and Sachiko Kuroyanagi. He completed his Physics degree at the University of C\u00f3rdoba and his master&#8217;s degree at the Autonomous University of Madrid. His main research focuses on the AdS\/CFT correspondence, braneworlds, and especially the relationship between quantum information and gravity. They are currently a la Caixa Doctoral INPhINIT Fellow at IFT under the supervision of David Cerde\u00f1o and Marina Cerme\u00f1o. Karen&#8217;s main research interests are phenomenological aspects of Dark Matter and neutrinos. He is currently pursuing his PhD under Luca Merlo and Jos\u00e9 Miguel No in the field of Beyond Standard Model phenomenology. A large part of his research focuses on aspects of thermal field theory applied to the study of cosmological phase transitions and mechanisms of baryogenesis. More generally, he studies the interplay between extensions of the scalar sector and solutions to open problems in the Standard Model. He is doing his PhD at IFT under the supervision of \u00d3scar Varela. His main research focuses on duality covariant reformulations of supergravity and consistent truncations within this formalism. He is currently pursuing a PhD at IFT under the supervision of Fernando Marchesano and Luis Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez. His main research interest is in String Theory, and in particular on its underlying principles as a theory of quantum gravity and its phenomenology.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-column-a6e5da20\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-column\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized has-custom-border is-style-rounded\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/9b7bd2a078420a4f013721e870d854cd8c1e5ae34df9b53f5e52624592937180?s=96&#038;d=mm&#038;r=g\" alt=\"\" class=\"has-border-color has-neve-link-color-border-color wp-image-16594677\" style=\"width:180px;height:181px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading-e1107794\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading-e1107794\">Gabriele Barbagallo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading-7b523def\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading-7b523def\"><strong>gabriele.barbagallo@estudiante.uam.es<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabriele obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics at the University of Pisa. Thereafter, he was awarded a research fellowship at INFN, where he worked on the application of AI techniques to analyze big data from high-energy physics experiments. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at IFT under the supervision of Prof. Tom\u00e1s Ortin. Under the supervision of Rafael Alves Batista and Miguel S\u00e1nchez-Conde, he is doing his doctoral thesis in the <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.ift.uam-csic.es\/damasco\/\">IFT DAMASCO<\/a> group. His work encompasses both conventional astroparticle investigations and indirect dark matter searches through gamma-ray observations, focusing on axion-like particles. He is currently pursuing his PhD under Luca Merlo and Jos\u00e9 Miguel No in the field of Beyond Standard Model phenomenology. A large part of his research focuses on aspects of thermal field theory applied to the study of cosmological phase transitions and mechanisms of baryogenesis. More generally, he studies the interplay between extensions of the scalar sector and solutions to open problems in the Standard Model. He is doing his PhD at the IFT under the supervision of Carlos Pena. He is currently pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Juan Antonio Aguilar Saavedra. Then, after a brief period of university teaching, also in Chile, he is currently pursuing a PhD at IFT under the supervision of Matteo Fasiello. He completed his undergraduate studies in Physics at the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid and earned his master\u2019s degree at the IFT.
