’25 Years of Warped Geometry’ by Lisa Randall

    DIFT Colloquium.

    Lisa Randall (Harvard University).
    Distinguished SO(IFT) Professor (SO Chair)

    Abstract:

In this talk, I review the work done with Raman Sundrum and Andreas Karch on models of warped geometry in five-dimensional space that have interesting four-dimensional consequences. I review applications to particle physics, cosmology, string theory, and general relativity. I briefly introduce some more recent work on those subjects.
