Things we organise

The SO program is crucial in enhancing the global recognition of the IFT as a leading research facility in Europe and worldwide. Thanks to this sustained effort, the IFT has become a standard meeting place for the international theoretical physics community. We organize several scientific meetings per year, covering all research areas, which attract hundreds of international physicists to our premises. In addition, we usually organise one extended program per year that lasts several weeks. This program covers timely topics of strategic interest for the IFT. The SO Training Programme comprises high-profile lecture series and colloquia presented by global experts, which are linked to the Excellence Visitors Programme.
