Hoy esa tecnolog\u00eda est\u00e1 presente en nuestra vida cotidiana: l\u00e1seres, aparatos m\u00e9dicos, toda la electr\u00f3nica\u2026 La\u00a0<strong>f\u00edsica cu\u00e1ntica<\/strong>, o el \u00e1rea de la f\u00edsica que estudia los sistemas microsc\u00f3picos (el interior de los \u00e1tomos y las misteriosas leyes que lo gobiernan), se inaugura oficialmente con un\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/quantum2025.org\/es\/news-link\/la-mecanica-cuantica-100-anos-despues-una-revolucion-inacabada\/\">c\u00e9lebre art\u00edculo de W. Heisenberg<\/a>\u00a0que revoluciona el campo. En la actualidad, la humanidad deposita sus esfuerzos para lograr una \u201csegunda revoluci\u00f3n\u201d con los ordenadores cu\u00e1nticos a la cabeza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el fin de conmemorar este centenario, el Instituto de F\u00edsica Te\u00f3rica (IFT UAM-CSIC), junto con el Instituto de F\u00edsica Fundamental (IFF-CSIC), organiza la sexta edici\u00f3n del congreso internacional\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/indico.ift.uam-csic.es\/event\/27\/\">Entangle This<\/a>\u00a0(<em>\u00a1Entrelaza esto!<\/em>),\u00a0<strong>del 15 al 19 de septiembre en el Real Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico de Madrid,<\/strong>\u00a0con la presencia de reconocidos investigadores en el \u00e1mbito de la computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica, como Ignacio Cirac e Immanuel Bloch (Inst. Max Planck) o Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Latorre (UB, Centre for Quantum Technologies, Singapur).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa idea del Entangle This es precisamente entrelazar temas muy diversos dentro del mismo \u00e1rea\u201d, explica uno de los organizadores, el investigador del IFT \u00c1lvaro M. Alhambra. \u201cPor ejemplo, algoritmos cu\u00e1nticos o&nbsp;<strong>el potencial de la f\u00edsica cu\u00e1ntica para producir computaciones muy poderosas,<\/strong>&nbsp;mucho m\u00e1s poderosas que las que pueden hacer los ordenadores cl\u00e1sicos\u201d. Seg\u00fan Cirac: \u201cSi pudi\u00e9semos \u2018domesticar\u2019 nuestros ordenadores cu\u00e1nticos para que puedan resolver problemas de muchos cuerpos, eso tendr\u00eda aplicaciones como por ejemplo en el desarrollo de f\u00e1rmacos, porque nos permitir\u00eda resolver problemas relacionados con reacciones qu\u00edmicas para poder&nbsp;<strong>crear productos farmac\u00e9uticos que sean m\u00e1s \u00fatiles<\/strong>, y tambi\u00e9n en el dise\u00f1o de materiales.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pese a que los avances son notables en computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica, por ahora, no parece que los ordenadores cu\u00e1nticos est\u00e9n cerca de nuestro alcance. Explica Cirac: \u201cDe momento yo creo que nadie piensa que todos podamos tener un ordenador cu\u00e1ntico en el futuro, y la raz\u00f3n es que sus aplicaciones conocidas no tienen un nivel usuario. Es decir,&nbsp;<strong>la imagen que debemos tener es que los ordenadores cu\u00e1nticos ser\u00e1n como los actuales superordenadores<\/strong>, y que las empresas o los cient\u00edficos tendremos acceso a ellos, tal vez remotamente, para poder hacer c\u00e1lculos muy complicados. Pero todav\u00eda queda un camino muy largo por recorrer\u201d, matiza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Simuladores cu\u00e1nticos, la \u201cversi\u00f3n beta\u201d de los ordenadores cu\u00e1nticos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un simulador cu\u00e1ntico es un dispositivo dise\u00f1ado para reproducir el comportamiento de un sistema cu\u00e1ntico complejo \u2014como un material o una reacci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica\u2014 usando otro sistema cu\u00e1ntico m\u00e1s controlable. No sirven para todo, pero ya se est\u00e1n usando para estudiar fen\u00f3menos fuera del equilibrio y sistemas de muchos cuerpos, y podemos aprender much\u00edsimo de ellos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Predicciones fascinantes sobre el futuro de la cu\u00e1ntica: la informaci\u00f3n como principio<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Echando la vista atr\u00e1s, y si los pioneros de la f\u00edsica cu\u00e1ntica hubieran podido ser testigos, ser\u00eda dif\u00edcil imaginar para ellos el mundo del presente. El divulgador y f\u00edsico te\u00f3rico Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Latorre (Barcelona, 1959) reflexiona sobre el pasado, pero tambi\u00e9n sobre los retos cient\u00edficos que nos esperan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Los padres de la mec\u00e1nica cu\u00e1ntica estar\u00edan fascinados con lo que est\u00e1 sucediendo hoy con su criatura<\/strong>. Pero lo m\u00e1s interesante es mirar al futuro. Habr\u00e1, como siempre, una reticencia al cambio, pero estoy completamente convencido de ello. Adem\u00e1s, yo defiendo que&nbsp;<strong>hemos de empezar a explorar la informaci\u00f3n como principio nuevo,&nbsp;<\/strong>el gran principio de informaci\u00f3n\u201d, sentencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>J\u00f3venes voces en la frontera<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los principales objetivos del congreso Entangle This VI es la transferencia de conocimiento a las nuevas generaciones, que liderar\u00e1n la siguiente revoluci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, imperada por la informaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sara Giordano, doctoranda en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, trabaja en algoritmos aplicados a la computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica: \u201cEs una ocasi\u00f3n \u00fanica para la comunidad espa\u00f1ola de computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica. Poder escuchar y dialogar con expertos internacionales en este campo es fundamental para nuestro crecimiento.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, Carlos Fulgado, investigador predoctoral en el IFT: \u201cLo m\u00e1s valioso es la interacci\u00f3n: durante el a\u00f1o cada uno trabaja en lo suyo, pero aqu\u00ed compartimos perspectivas nuevas que refrescan la investigaci\u00f3n.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para Patrick Emonts, junior group leader en Ulm (Alemania): \u201cConferencias como esta son esenciales. Es muy dif\u00edcil seguir el trabajo de todos, y este contacto personal es lo que hace de la investigaci\u00f3n una aventura apasionante.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
