{"id":1729,"date":"2025-04-07T14:21:00","date_gmt":"2025-04-07T14:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.ift.uam-csic.es\/outreach_new\/?p=1729"},"modified":"2025-05-22T14:27:01","modified_gmt":"2025-05-22T14:27:01","slug":"el-ift-y-el-icmat-abren-sus-puertas-a-jovenes-con-altas-capacidades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.ift.uam-csic.es\/outreach_new\/el-ift-y-el-icmat-abren-sus-puertas-a-jovenes-con-altas-capacidades\/","title":{"rendered":"El IFT y el ICMAT abren sus puertas a j\u00f3venes con altas capacidades"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Una ma\u00f1ana para descubrir la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica desde dentro<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El pasado 5 de abril, el Instituto de Ciencias Matem\u00e1ticas (ICMAT) y el Instituto de F\u00edsica Te\u00f3rica (IFT) acogieron a m\u00e1s de 50 estudiantes de 1\u00ba de Bachillerato del Programa de Enriquecimiento Educativo para Alumnado con Altas Capacidades Intelectuales (PEAC) de la Comunidad de Madrid. Desde las 10:00 y hasta la 13:00, el alumnado \u2014procedente de las sedes Este y Centro 2 del PEAC\u2014 tuvo la oportunidad de acercarse al mundo de la investigaci\u00f3n en matem\u00e1ticas y f\u00edsica te\u00f3rica de la mano de sus protagonistas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La jornada, celebrada en las instalaciones del campus UAM-CSIC, fue organizada por personal cient\u00edfico y de divulgaci\u00f3n del ICMAT y el IFT, con el objetivo de fomentar vocaciones cient\u00edficas, mostrar el trabajo que se realiza en los centros y ofrecer una experiencia participativa y enriquecedora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La actividad comenz\u00f3 con una presentaci\u00f3n de los centros y el trabajo que se desarrolla en ellos, a cargo de Luis \u00c1lvarez C\u00f3nsul, investigador del CSIC en el ICMAT y Karl Landsteiner, vicedirector del IFT. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la descripci\u00f3n de las instituciones, ambos destacaron la pasi\u00f3n, la creatividad y la perseverancia que requiere la carrera cient\u00edfica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, los asistentes realizaron una visita guiada por las instalaciones del ICMAT y el IFT. Esta ruta, conducida por Laura Marcos y \u00c1gata Tim\u00f3n \u2013responsables de comunicaci\u00f3n y divulgaci\u00f3n del IFT y del ICMAT, respectivamente\u2013, Pablo Hidalgo \u2013estudiante de doctorado del ICMAT\u2013 y Landsteiner, ofreci\u00f3 una visi\u00f3n del d\u00eda a d\u00eda en un centro de investigaci\u00f3n: desde el trabajo en los despachos, pasando por el uso de recursos como bibliotecas y repositorios cient\u00edficos, hasta el papel clave de las relaciones humanas y el intercambio de ideas en seminarios, conferencias y colaboraciones internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras un breve descanso, se sucedieron dos presentaciones breves en la que se compartieron ejemplos de investigaci\u00f3n en curso. Carmen G\u00f3mez-Fayr\u00e9n de las Heras, investigadora predoctoral del IFT, narr\u00f3 su experiencia personal en el desarrollo de un proyecto cient\u00edfico desde sus fases iniciales, mientras que Luis \u00c1lvarez C\u00f3nsul introdujo a los estudiantes en un tema candente en el \u00e1rea de la geometr\u00eda: los espacios de moduli y su conexi\u00f3n con la f\u00edsica te\u00f3rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para concluir, los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de convertirse en cient\u00edficos durante un rato, en la sesi\u00f3n de talleres simult\u00e1neos. Por un lado, el taller de matem\u00e1ticas, \u201cColores y puntos: desaf\u00edos matem\u00e1ticos visuales\u201d, guiado por Pablo Hidalgo (ICMAT), plante\u00f3 al alumnado retos geom\u00e9tricos accesibles, conectados con la investigaci\u00f3n actual. A trav\u00e9s de problemas como la coloraci\u00f3n del plano, se exploraron nociones de combinatoria, geometr\u00eda y l\u00f3gica, despertando el pensamiento visual y la intuici\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En paralelo, el f\u00edsico Alberto Casas (IFT) ofreci\u00f3 el taller \u201cRelatividad y luz\u201d, una inmersi\u00f3n en los fundamentos de la relatividad especial. Mediante experimentos mentales y razonamientos matem\u00e1ticos, los estudiantes exploraron conceptos como la dilataci\u00f3n temporal, el corrimiento gravitacional al rojo y la aniquilaci\u00f3n electr\u00f3n-positr\u00f3n, desde una perspectiva activa y cr\u00edtica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambos talleres se repitieron en dos turnos, permitiendo que todo el grupo participara en ambas experiencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de despertar el inter\u00e9s por los contenidos cient\u00edficos, la jornada respondi\u00f3 a objetivos pedag\u00f3gicos m\u00e1s amplios, en l\u00ednea con los principios del CREACIM: fomentar el pensamiento divergente, la creatividad, el trabajo en equipo y las habilidades sociales. El formato participativo y el contacto directo con investigadoras e investigadores contribuyeron a crear un ambiente cercano, en el que los estudiantes se sintieron parte activa del mundo
