The MultiDark Network organizes multiple activities to create new synergies and to establish new collaborations, both amongst its members and with external researchers or research centers with an interest in dark matter. Below, we list the main organized events since the birth of this Network.
- 22nd MultiDark meeting
The MultiDark network celebrates in the Universidad de Salamanca (USAL) the 22nd edition of the workshop, bringing together experts from diverse fields—astroparticle physics, high-energy, phenomenology, astrophysics, cosmology, experiment, simulations and alike— to join our efforts, share information and foster future collaborations and interdisciplinary approaches. During the workshop days, we will have plenty of time to report recent activities of the different groups composing the current MultiDark network in a series of contributed talks that will soon appear on the program. The distribution of the topics is direct detection, indirect detection (gamma and cosmic rays), indirect detection (neutrinos), Dark Matter theory and colliders, and Cosmology.
- Dark World to Swampland: The 9th IBS-IFT Workshop
The IBS-IFT Workshop is a regular event organized jointly by the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT) and the Institute for Basic Science, Center for Theoretical Physics of the Universe (IBS-CTPU). These meetings aim to exchange ideas, promote collaborations and discuss recent developments in theoretical high energy physics.
The 9th edition will take place at the IBS in Daejeon, South Korea, and is organized as an overarching two-week program. The first week of the program will focus on dark matter and particle physics (Nov 5-8) and the second, on string phenomenology (Nov 11-14). Its scientific program covers the topics of Dark Matter, Axion and ALPs, Quantum Gravity Conjectures, and String Compactifications.
- RENATA & 21st MultiDark joint meeting
The 2024 annual workshop of the MultiDark network is joined with a special meeting of RENATA (Red Nacional de Astroparticulas) to prepare the update on the European Strategy of Particle Physics. The meeting, organized by the Universidad de Cantabria, takes place in Santander, Spain, between October 8th and 11th, 2024.
The scientific program will cover a range of topics in the field of Dark Matter, presenting the latest results from the different participating groups at the interface of particle physics, astrophysics, cosmology, and instrumentation.
You can find the conference website here: 21st Multidark Workshop.

- LI International Meeting on Fundamental Physics
The International Meeting on Fundamental Physics is the Spanish Symposium on high-energy particle physics with the longest tradition. Since its creation in 1973, it has been organized annually by each of the leading Spanish groups. Its scientific programs have included dedicated reviews with the latest results in the fields of particle and astroparticle physics and cosmology.
The 2024 edition (Benasque Science Center, Sep 09 – Sep 14, 2024) is organized by the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE) and the Universitat de Barcelona (UB). You can find the conference webpage here: International Meeting on Fundamental Physics.

- 13th Iberian Gravitational Waves Meeting

The Iberian Gravitational Waves Meeting is a yearly conference to bring together researchers with an interest in the development of Gravitational Waves Astronomy, from fields such as Astrophysics, multi-messenger Astronomy, Cosmology, Fundamental Physics, Instrumentation and Data analysis.
The 2024 edition, the 13th Iberian Gravitational Waves Meeting, was held at the University of Salamanca (USAL), from June 24th to June 26th, in which MultiDark is a proud sponsor.
- 20th MultiDark Workshop
Following a tradition of meetings for more than 15 years, in October 2023, we held the 20th MultiDark Workshop in Gandia, Valencia (Spain), organized by the Universitat Politècnica de València.
You can find the conference website here: 20th Multidark Workshop.

- 8th IBS-MultiDark-ICTP
The IBS-ICTP-MultiDark Workshop on the Dark World is the eighth event where IBS-CTPU and MultiDark shared discussions and opinions on the quest for the identification of Dark Matter. Being the workshop oriented towards Dark Matter physics, it covered a wide range of subjects to promote the collaboration and exchange of ideas. Keeping a wide point of view, the list of invited speakers includes theoretical as well as experimental physicists. The 8th IBS MultiDark ICTP was celebrated at the Instituto de Física Teórica IFT UAM/CSIC, in Madrid (Spain) in November 2023.
- L International Meeting on Fundamental Physics and XV CPAN days
This series of conferences, organized by the Spanish HEP community in October 2023, brings together HEP scientists from various research topics in fundamental physics. The L International Meeting on Fundamental Physics and XV CPAN days brings together the Spanish scientific community integrated into the CPAN Consortium (National Center for Particle, Astroparticle, and Nuclear Physics) for a joint discussion on the current state of the field and its prospects. MultiDark is a proud sponsor of this conference.
