MultiDark POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITIONS


 
General Multimessenger Approach for Dark Matter Detection (MultiDark) is a Project supported by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation's Consolider-Ingenio 2010 Programme, involving most of the Spanish Institutions active on Dark Matter research, and covering all aspects of the subject, theoretical and experimental. It comprises 17 Spanish Research Groups, as well as several foreign members engaged in theoretical, astrophysical, cosmological and experimental aspects of dark matter research. The latter include theoretical and experimental analyses of direct and indirect detection experiments as varied as ANAIS, ROSEBUD, EURECA, GAW, MAGIC, CTA, Fermi-GLAST, PAMELA, ANTARES, KM3NeT, AUGER, JEM-EUSO, LISA. The postdoctoral scholars are expected to work with the existing group members.

We encourage applicants in all areas of dark matter research. Selection by the MultiDark steering committee will be on the basis of demonstrated excellence.


Description The appointment will be for two years, although in special cases 2+1 years can also be offered (third year contingent on successful performance). The position includes some travel funds.
