General             Multimessenger Approach for Dark Matter Detection (MultiDark) is a Project supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiviness Consolider-Ingenio 2010 Programme.

MultiDark is an excellence project in which most of the Spanish research community working in the field of dark matter is involved. The project consists of 11 theoretical, experimental and astrophysics groups with researchers from 18 Spanish universities and research institutes.

 
Description MultiDark offers to undergraduate students in their last years the opportunity to participate in a summer visit in one of its research groups in the field of dark matter.

The visits have to be carried out between July and September in the laboratories or research centers that participate in the project. The offered period is for one or two months. Students are required to prepare a short report on their work at the MultiDark groups which should be submitted at the end of their stay.

There will be no financial support  for the visits this year.

  • statement of research interests in the project indicating the preferred name(s) of the host Group(s) and the proposed period (starting date and duration of the visit)
  • CV including student records
  • a letter of recommendation

Deadline The application period will be closed by June 21st, 2015. Later applications may also be considered depending on the availability of the research groups.
