One instance of such systems is given by the high-T superconductors, which exhibit non-Fermi liquid behavior in the so-called &#8220;strange metal&#8221; phase above the critical temperature. I will discuss the holographic constructions of these systems, and in particular a model that I and my collaborators are currently investigating, based on a semi-holographic approach.
