These blocks are calculated within the monodromy method, which is reduced to considering the monodromies of the Fuchsian equation. We elaborate this method in terms of the special (holographic) variables that naturally emerge in the context of AdS\/CFT correspondence. In addition, we have explicitly calculated examples of 4- and 5-point conformal blocks with two and three background operators using these variables.
