His work is based in CMB in LTB Models:

Inhomogeneous (but still isotropic) models of the Universe offer an alternative to exotic theories of energy or gravity. These can be constrained by the available wealth of cosmological data, but a deeper understanding is necessary in order to either rule out the models or extract predictions that might lead to observational confirmation.

The purpose of the collaboration is to explore how large void models affect the large scale features of the Cosmic Microwave Background.
