Since the introduction of Witten's twitor string theory in 2003, many new techniques for the computation of scattering amplitudes in gauge theory and gravity have been introduced. In this talk I will show how the recent Grassmannian formulation of scattering amplitudes links all these developments in N=4 super-Yang-Mills. The Grassmannian formulation also suggests the existence of a dual description of the S-matrix where locality in space-time is an emergent concept. |
