FREDDY CACHAZO

Professor

Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, Canadá

16-20 June 2010

Professor Freddy Cachazo participated in the XVI European Workshop on String Theory, in which he pronounced the following conference: Grassmannian Unification

Since the introduction of Witten's twitor string theory in 2003, many new techniques for the computation of scattering amplitudes in gauge theory and gravity have been introduced. In this talk I will show how the recent Grassmannian formulation of scattering amplitudes links all these developments in N=4 super-Yang-Mills. The Grassmannian formulation also suggests the existence of a dual description of the S-matrix where locality in space-time is an emergent concept.
