Cookies Policy<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n

SPIN Internship at Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid (UAM)\u00a0provides information about the use of cookies on its websites.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cookies are files that can be downloaded to your computer through websites. They are tools that play an essential role in the provision of numerous information society services. Among other things, they allow a website to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their computer and, depending on the information obtained, they can be used to recognise the user and improve the service offered.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Types of cookies<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Depending on the entity that manages the domain from which the cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, two types can be distinguished: own cookies and third-party cookies.<\/p>\n

There is also a second classification based on the length of time they remain stored in the client\u2019s browser, which can be session cookies or persistent cookies.<\/p>\n

PFinally, there is another classification with five types of cookies depending on the purpose for which the data obtained is processed: technical cookies, personalisation cookies, analysis cookies, advertising cookies and behavioural advertising cookies.<\/p>\n

Cookies used on the website<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n\n

For social media promotion, we use cookies from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube so that our visitors can follow us on these networks. Twitter and YouTube content is embedded on the home page.<\/p>\n

The following IFT cookies are used: _pk_ses111.6fed, _pk_id.111.6fed, has_js and cookie-agreed. Cookies are also used to preserve a user\u2019s session status.
