What is SPIN?<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n\n

SPIN connects students with researchers to undertake internships in a real research environment<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Each internship is arranged individually, taking into account the student\u2019s interests and academic background, the research areas currently available, and whether a suitable project and supervisor can be found.<\/p>\n

Places are limited and depend on the availability of researchers and projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

A first step into research<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n\n

SPIN gives you the opportunity to experience how a research project works from the inside: tackling a specific problem, learning new tools and methodologies, and working alongside researchers in the field.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Where can you do your internship?<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n\n

One of the distinctive features of SPIN is the opportunity to join research groups across three different centres:<\/p>\n

DFT – Department of Theoretical Physics \u00b7 UAM<\/a><\/b>
Internships with research groups at the Department of Theoretical Physics of Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid.<\/p>\n

IFT – Institute for Theoretical Physics \u00b7 UAM\u2013CSIC<\/b><\/a>

CIAFF – Centre for Advanced Research in Fundamental Physics \u00b7 UAM<\/a><\/b>
