La sesi\u00f3n dio lugar a una animada discusi\u00f3n con el p\u00fablico y fue, sin duda, un encuentro muy enriquecedor para toda la comunidad.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n  <!-- English -->\n  <div id=\"content-en-vafa\" style=\"display:none;\">\n    <h2 style=\"color:#004a87; font-size:1.8rem; margin-bottom:16px;\">DIFT Colloquium: Cumrun Vafa<\/h2>\n    <p>On <strong>Wednesday, November 6, 2025<\/strong>, we held a new session of the <em>DIFT Colloquia 2025<\/em> series at the <strong>Multipurpose Hall, Plaza Mayor (UAM)<\/strong>, with an excellent turnout and a highly engaging atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n    <p>We were honored to host <strong>Cumrun Vafa<\/strong>, <strong>Professor of Theoretical Physics at Harvard University<\/strong>, widely known for his fundamental contributions to string theory and to our understanding of the deep structure of space-time.<\/p>\n\n    <p>In his talk, he shared several perspectives on the interplay between geometry, quantum gravity, and string theory\u2014topics at the forefront of current research in theoretical physics.
