En su conferencia, titulada <em>\u201c25 Years of Warped Geometry\u201d<\/em>, ofreci\u00f3 una panor\u00e1mica sobre los modelos de <strong>geometr\u00eda deformada en cinco dimensiones<\/strong>, desarrollados junto a <strong>Raman Sundrum<\/strong> y <strong>Andreas Karch<\/strong>, explicando su impacto en la <strong>f\u00edsica de part\u00edculas, la cosmolog\u00eda, la teor\u00eda de cuerdas y la relatividad general<\/strong>.<\/p>\n    <p>La charla reuni\u00f3 a <strong>m\u00e1s de un centenar de asistentes<\/strong>, entre estudiantes, investigadores e investigadoras, que llenaron el Aula Polivalente en un ambiente de entusiasmo y curiosidad. Con este primer encuentro, el ciclo <em>DIFT Colloquia 2025<\/em> se consolida como un espacio de referencia para el di\u00e1logo, la inspiraci\u00f3n y la difusi\u00f3n de los avances en f\u00edsica te\u00f3rica.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n  <!-- English -->\n  <div id=\"content-en-lisa\" style=\"display:none;\">\n    <h2 style=\"color:#004a87; font-size:1.8rem; margin-bottom:16px;\">Lisa Randall opens the DIFT Colloquia 2025<\/h2>\n    <p>On <strong>May 7, 2025<\/strong>, the <strong>Multipurpose Hall of the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid<\/strong> hosted the opening session of the new <em>DIFT Colloquia<\/em> series \u2014a joint initiative of the <strong>Department of Theoretical Physics (DIFT)<\/strong> and the <strong>Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT)<\/strong>, aimed at fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening ties within the scientific community.<\/p>\n    <p>The inaugural talk was delivered by <strong>Lisa Randall<\/strong>, <strong>Professor of Theoretical Physics at Harvard University<\/strong>, and one of the most influential voices in the study of extra dimensions of space-time. In her lecture, titled <em>\u201c25 Years of Warped Geometry\u201d<\/em>, she provided an overview of the <strong>warped geometry models in five dimensions<\/strong>, developed with <strong>Raman Sundrum<\/strong> and <strong>Andreas Karch<\/strong>, highlighting their significance in <strong>particle physics, cosmology, string theory, and general relativity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n    <p>The event attracted <strong>over a hundred attendees<\/strong>, including students and researchers, who filled the Multipurpose Hall in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and curiosity.
